Hornstrasse is a one-way road so extremely quiet. Opposite the main entrance to the building there's a children's play area in the copse and a large park at the end of the street. Bus and metro connections are 5 minutes' walk away and the two supermarkets Edeka and Rewe are on the corner of the next road.
